Germany lost the war basically due to 3 issues imo.ġ) The failed to neutralize the UK in some form PRIOR to taking on the Soviets. I read some good articles that basically explained how it literally (the cost) destroyed the British Empire. the best i can say about the strat bombing was not that it ended the war or was the reason Germany lost but that it reduced German production from what it COULD have been. The reality is right up to the end of the war Germany was producing more then they ever did.
We had a long ongoing debate over the allied strategic bombing campaign and whether it was worth it or not.
